We've made it to the end of an interesting year. The New Year baby--bright and shiny '23--is about to bounce onstage, while used-up ol' '22 limps away. That dodgy wish we've all heard must be going around again lately: "May you live in interesting times." We're about to put up a fresh calendar--yet to be marked up. We'll look forward to celebrating lots of those numbered squares and cursing fewer than we did this year. May we visit interesting places, meet interesting people, seek out goodness and help it grow.
