These are not vintage outfits, but they're pretty summer formals. The purple is a replica of the designer dress Liz Taylor wore to the Oscars in the early 60's. The ash blonde doll(center) is a "long hair" AG--very elegant. Both blondes just got back from Krista's--excellent restoration artist whose web site (www.dollrestoration.com) is a wonderful resource. She restored the middle doll's chipped-off eyelashes, which might have been a factory flaw, and repaired a small neck split on the other blonde. These dolls are well worth refurbishing since they were the original "bend leg" Barbie and this particular style, introduced in 1965, was only produced until 1966 (the year I graduated from high school).
