Stories.
We sing them, say them, draw them, play them, and some of us write them so that all of us can read them. The storyteller is both entertainer and educator, and when it's time for celebration, there's a special place in our hearts for the stories we enjoy time after time, holiday after holiday. That's why I'm so pleased that Bell Bridge Books has chosen to promote my holiday novella collection, THE SHARING SPOON, by putting the e-book on sale for $1.99 through the end of November. Here's a link to the book on Amazon: http://tinyurl.com/KEnovellas . But THE SHARING SPOON is now on sale through all the major e-book retailers.

You can find short descriptions of all three novellas in the 3-in-1 updated volume right here http://www.bellbridgebooksblog.com/whats-on-sale/ . The title story celebrates Thanksgiving, which was my mother's favorite holiday. No toy shopping, little decorating. It's all about gathering the family for a meal that's replete with family recipes, some of which go way back.

Mama's side of the family--both the Garners and the Bellfields--have lived in Virginia for generations. I've always been a history buff, and through the online ancestry sites I've been able to trace Mary Virgina's Virginians all the way back to Jamestown. Daddy is another interesting story, as is my husband, Clyde. Stories for another day. Suffice it to say that the Eagle family has always gathered both Pilgrims and Indians around the Thanksgiving table.

Happy holidays and happy reading, my friends!
