News: THE LAST GOOD MAN is on sale this week (through the end of September) in e-format for $1.99. I'm told it's the only romance ever to make the finals for the Minnesota Book Award. The sale price is good at all major e-book sites. FYI, here's the Amazon link: http://tinyurl.com/tlgmke . The sequel to THE LAST GOOD MAN is YOU NEVER CAN TELL.
I love Goodreads. It's a reader's one-stop reference site. When I hear about a book that could be right up my alley, I look for reviews on the Goodreads web site. Discerning readers hang out there, and I'm one of them. I particularly like the way Goodreads gives me links for ordering from a number of different booksellers. I enjoy the author pages--mine is https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/18139.Kathleen_Eagle --where you can find a link to a list of my other books, "85 distinct works" (who knew?) and a list of "similar authors," whom readers who like my books also like. What a great way to find other authors we might like! Only recently have I realized how much more we can find on those author pages.
I'm on the lookout for more ways those of us who've been lucky weather-wise in recent months can help people who've been hit hard. NPR reminds us to avoid scams by doing our research and recommends https://www.charitynavigator.org .
I hope you and yours are well and safe. Keep your loved ones close and your books dry!
