50's style fabric

These outfits are E-Bays finds from a seller called "toykrazy." Notice the dress on the left showcases the 50's housewife doing her neverending job. I love the one on the far right with the "How to Get a Husband" theme. Some of the advice: Don't be sulky; avoid that boyish look; don't be too sexy; play hard to get but not too hard; don't play the field--concentrate on one man. The cartoons remind me of a "chick lit" cover. Toykrazy also makes neat dresses from vintage hankies, which I'll feature later. And, yes, this doll stuff has something to do with my next book, but it's also one of my hobbies--revelling in second childhood.
