The 1975 Hawaiian Barbie is past the bounds of my collection, but she looks a bit like my daughter. On the right is a "Growin' Pretty Hair" Barbie from 1970, the year I graduated from college, got married, started teaching. I remember wearing peasant dresses as early as summer '71.
