Next Loft Literary Center Classes: Kathleen has been teaching writing classes at the Loft Literary Center  (downtown Minneapolis) with friend and teaching partner Mary Bracho aka Ana Seymour for several years.  Their sessions last 6 weeks, and they teach two versions; a nuts and bolts beginner's class and a more advanced (intermediate) class for writers who have material in progress and want hands-on group work.     Book-In-A-Month                              MARY BRACHO & KATHLEEN EAGLE Thursdays, 7-9 pm March 15-April 19, 2012 Sliding Fee Scale (See Loft web site) How long have you been waiting to write that book? Or finish that book? This course is about finally making the commitment to do it! Students will set goals to establish an intensive month-long writing schedule. Your rigorous writing experience will be supported by e-mail check-ins, peer group encouragement and mentorship by two Twin Cities authors who between them have published more than 60 novels. Both instructors have done extensive deadline crunch writing and will help you get into the kind of creative mindset that can accomplish miracles on the written page.  We will do hands-on work with student manuscripts in every session, celebrating achievements and helping to solve story problems that have arisen during the week’s writing. Bring your work-in-progress to the first class. Or if you haven’t started, bring a 1-2 page synopsis of the story you will be writing.
