Two 1967 cotton shifts--"Print Aplenty" (boots don't belong with the outfit, but my granddaughter insisted because "they match") and "Sunflower". The blonde on the left has a 1968 "Talking Barbie" head and an older model body. Few of the "talking" bodies stood the test of time. On the right is my second American Girl. These girls are treasured because they were only made for about a year--65-66. I graduated from high school in '66 wearing my hair exactly this way for the next two years at Mount Holyoke College. I got this AG's head and body separately (part of the hobby, you know). She's on her way to my favorite doll doctor, Krista (www.dollrestoration.com) and her doll spa for repair of the small neck split that she came with.
